Manufactruing Process of PLASTRON
PLASTRON pellets are manufactured with continuous fibers of roving passing through impregnation die filled with molten thermoplastics, fibers in each pellet have the same length as that of each pellet.
Various features of PLASTRON
PLASTRON stimulatingly satisfy both high impact strength and high rigidity, which always have been conflicting in conventional plastics. This makes replacement of PLASTRON for metals or FRPs possible.
Falling dart impact resistance of PLASTRON
Long fibers in PLASTRON are also strong against falling dart impact.
Dimensional stability of PLASTRON
Long fiber reinforcement suppress warpage and thermal expansion coefficient of moldings. Deformation caused by thermal expansion at juncture/bonding with metals can be also suppressed to the minimum.
Long term creep performance
In addition to the high rigidity and dart impact resistance, PLASTRON also has great advantage in long term performance.
